Some hope?

I still haven't heard anything about the issue personally, but it looks like adCenter might finally have realized how large of an issue they've got... guess this is not an isolated case.

Hi everyone,
I apologize for this inconvenience. The adCenter team is aware of this issue with some promo codes and we're working to fix it. We will be issuing refunds shortly to customers who have experienced this issue.

I will keep you updated as I learn more.
